In the summer one of my favorite things is to sit in our back yard in the evening and watch.I watch the meadow grass blowing in the wind, the nesting birds zooming in and out of the bird houses, the lambs grazing and chickens scratching and chasing bugs. The dogs love this time of day, too. They leap and dance and play and yes, laugh. It's all a juicy slice of summer joy.
