It is hard to tell from the photo, but this was a HUGE toad. A good 5 inches long, and nearly as wide. Chris found him when he was splitting wood with our amazing friend, Scott. I tried to get the toad to pose for a photo, but he wanted nothing to do with me. He was very happy eating the zillions of bugs that were living happily under the mammoth log pile in our yard.
